I finished reading it on 14th May.
I'm going to tsll you about the sammary of it.
Main character ,Kate Grant, was kidnapped by thieves who stole the picture "Girl with a Pearl Ear-ring". To survive the affair, she acted on her own instructive. Finishly, she was helped and the picture came back to the museum.

In 1815, Grace was waiting for her boyfriend with her baby in the womb. After 9 years, she gave birth to a girl, but the woman took her baby. Grace was feel sad, and she keeps waiting for her child in her house. In 2001, Sue and her baby Sammy come Geace's house. Grace thinks that it will make Sue's child my child.
I thought that this book was a scary story at first. However, I was felt that this was the story of a poor woman. The situation of this story was comprehensible, because there were a lot of pictures.

A main character visit museum and she see the picture which called the pearl girl. She likes it very much, because she loves earring. She is abducted at museum, but she is survived. In conclusion, she get pearl earring from museum manager.
I think I don’t want to come across abductor. I want to see the picture instead of it.

ReplyDeleteI read New Yorkers on the Oxford university press by O.Henry. The book is composed of some stories. The book is for stage 2. I started reading the book on May 12th and finished it on May 24th.
The story is about ordinary people living ordinary lives in New York. They are all differently circumstanced. Some are rich, some are poor, some are happy, some are sad, some have found love, some are looking for love.
I really enjoyed reading the book, but the level was little difficult for me. I didn't grasp some stories.
I recommended this book to somebody who like to read very short stories.

A taxi driver ,Tommy, had to drive with a moviestar' son ,Dino, in London because his boss asked him. Tommy met Dino in a hotel, and they moved around London, but Dino bothered Tommy. Actually, "Dino" wasn't real Dino!!
I think Tommy was pitful. He sould see that the boy is Dono. I enjoyed reading it.

ReplyDeleteI read "Marcel and the Mona Lisa" by Stephen Rabley. It is EASY STARTS and published by PENGUIN READERS. I finished reading in a day, on 5th June.
Marcel is a French mouse, and a detective. Seeing the thief robbing of the Mona Lisa, he tried to recapture it. Although he had trouble with cats, he managed to make it.
I think Marcel is a brave and great mouse. If I am him, I can't do like him. It is exciting for me to read it.
If you read it, you also enjoy do it.

One day two students look at some very old stumps and coins in a shop. One student,Peta wants to buy some stanps, but they are expensive. Later that day some coins are missing from the shop, and the shopkeeper is doubting him. Who is the robber?
I think reading this book is easy, but the import of a story is not suspenseful I expected by a cover.
I recommend this book because it is simple story.

ReplyDeleteI read "THREE TOMORROWS" by Frank Brennan. The book is from CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY PRESS. The book is LEVEL 1. It took me 2 days to read the book.
This book has three stories about the future. One story is "Spam". This is the story that sends mail too much and buys a lot of same commodities. Another story is "A Flower for Lumus". This is the story of the woman who bought the robot that does the appearance of her died husband. The last story is "Zima's Last Dream". This story is dreams of the last woman to live.
It is a little difficult for me to read. I think this book is strange story.
If you want to read the strange story, I recommend this book.

ReplyDeleteI read “Marcel and the Mona Lisa”. The book is from Penguin Readers series. The book level is easy starts. I read the book on June 2nd.
Marcel is mouse and detective. One day, he see thieve who steal “Mona Lisa” and he run after them. After all, he take back the picture.
I enjoy this book. The main character is scared by cats, although he take back the picture. It is wonderful!
I recommended the book, because it is for us to easy.

The protagonist of this book is a owl. This book consists of 5 stories, "THE GUEST", "STRANGE BUMPS", "TEAR-WATER TEA", "UPSTAIRS AND DOWNSTAIRS", and "OWL AND THE MOON".
I enjoyed this book very much. 5 stories are fun! Particularly I like "OWL AND THE MOON".
His behavior is adrable.
Please read this book, I think it is easy for us to read.

ReplyDeleteI read "Next Door to Love" by Margaret Johnson. It is LEVEL 1 and published by CAMBRIDGE. I started reading it on 10th June, and finished on 12th June.
Stella fell in love with her neighbour Tony. However, Tony was in truble. Tony has a doughter Daisy, but he doesn't often see her.
I like love stories a lot. So, I enjoyed reading it. I became to want to love someone.
Whether you like love stories or not, you should read it.
I read ″THE OC″ by Jane Espenson, Allan Heinberg and Josh Schwartz. this book is published by SCHOLASTIC. Thus book is level3. I started reading it on June 7 and finished on June 13.

Goldilocks want to go to forest, but her mother said ‘NO’. One day, she decide go to forest. She sees the three bears, later, she become friends with baby bear.
I enjoy this book. I want to play with the bear like Goldilocks. Bears are very cute.

This book is has five stories about animals and littel people. 'The Ugly Duckling' is story that the ugly duckling was actually a swan. There are other story 'The Nightingale' and 'The Littel Mermaid' and 'The Enperor's New Clothes' and 'Thumbeline'.
It is easy for me to read this book, because I have read this when my childhood. I read this after a long time. So I enjoyed reading.
I recommend this book, because this is interesting.

This book is better than any books I've read to date.It is easy to read, and it is so exaciting!!!

This book is misterious. It is difficult for me to understand it. However, I became to be interested in it.

Goku thought he was a normal kid. However, he decided to meet Master Roshi and to find all seven Dragon Balls after his grandpa died. Then he met Bulma who had Dragon Ball of five stars. Goku and Bulma went to find the seven Dragon Balls.
If you are interested in Dragon Ball, I recommend this book.

This story is very interesting but I read a only book in this series. So, I want to read another stories.

Frog and Toad are friends. They are good friends. One day on April, Frog go to Toad's house to wake up him. However, he don't wake up. Frog thing the way to wake up him.
I like this book because this book is very interesting! In addition, we can read easy.

Nate the Great who is detective had his first nigth case that find the garbage shatcher. He asked to Rosamond and Esmeralda and read book. Then he goes under cover of the garbage-cand lid. Finally, he find garbage shatcher, it is his bog, Sludge.
It is easy to read, because this is like a picture book. This book is interesting, and the illustration of this is cute. So I like this.
If you like a picture book, I recommend the book.

Stuart wanted a motorbike a lot, but he didn'T want to work. One day, he found a lot of money. Many things happended, and he learned to want to work.
I want some money too. However, if I were him, I didn't do like him. You can think about your wish for money.
This book is not bad. I recommend it.

Jack and his mother are poor, and one day, the magic been he obtain in exchange for his goat. Next day, beanstalk goes up into sky, and he takes the gold coin from bad giant’s castle. Finally, they aren’t poor, and they are very happy.
I think this book is interesting because the story is unreal. I want to walk on cloud!

Lia's grandmother want some water in the bucket in her well. There is her well in a dangerous place, and Lia's paremts stop to bring some water. However, Lia and her brother discided to go to the well.
I think Lia is a brave and kind girl. I guess her dead grandfather helped her go to the well. I enjoyed reading it.

The donkey carries variety of thing everyday, it is very heavy. One day, he carries load of salt, and he fall in river. The salts vanish like a magic!

The renter of Henry's house is professor, and he has letters by Shakespeare. Marcel wanted to see the letters, but they're not in the professor's flat.
I like this book, because this is interesting. It is easy to read.

Hapu and his father Bak make gold tables and chairs. The work is hot and very hard. One day, Bak fell on the ground. Hapu has to make much money to recover Bak's health.
I think Hapu is a great son. He loves Bak and he tried to live and work with Bak. I want a son like Hapu.
